Public Database - User Guide

Table Descriptions  This link is to a description of the information contained in each table.

Definitions/Glossary  This link is to definitions of the specific fields (data items) included in the tables.

Database Queries   There are three options by which you can access the information in the tables: Prepared Queries, User Defined Queries, and Download Database. Each option has its own level of convenience versus flexibility. The search results from the first two options can simply be viewed or may be downloaded to your computer in a variety of formats.

Prepared Queries  These queries have been designed by us and generate our most commonly requested statistics. If you want, you can minimally refine these queries by specific search criteria.  The response from this process may take a little extra time. We ask that you please be patient.

User Defined Queries  These queries provide access to all the tables and their fields (data items). You select the specific statistics in which you are interested and then you can filter the query results to meet your needs.

Download Database  This option allows you to download the entire database to your computer in a convenient database format (Microsoft Access).

It is recommended that you use the navigation links at the bottom of any page, whenever possible, instead of the browser's Back button.
